Halloween is a special time of year and Magician Mitch Geier believes in celebrating by giving back to the community. During the year, Mitch performs his unique form of prestidigitation (magic) and comedy for adults only. However, on Halloween he always gives a free show for children in the community where he lives – Plumsted Township. Mitch tells us, “Houdini died on Halloween and this is my way of keeping magic and his sprit alive in the hearts of the children and the young-at-heart.”
This year the American Legion will be helping make this event a success by allowing Mitch to use their hall. The American Legion has also generously offered to serve refreshments! Last year over 60 children and their parents attended and the feedback from the show was great. As with all of Mitch’s shows, every child will go home with a hand crafted balloon animal.
Mitch Geier is a local businessman who owns a computer-consulting firm and is very active in his community. Mitch is also a former full-time, professional magician who worked in Las Vegas prior to opening his business. Currently, Mitch performs professionally part time out of his love for magic.
This year the Halloween Magic Show will be held on Saturday, October 25 at 7:30 PM at The American Legion Hall, 2 Meadow Brook Lane, New Egypt – directly across the street from Agway. Come join in for a fun, spooky, and magical Halloween!
